Default 1929 Chicago Cubs team blotter....and blotter thread

For the past few years I have found blotter collecting to be most interesting and enjoyable. Here is a recent pick up. One of my more favorite series is the very scarce Steven's Firearm "cards" too. This Kaufman & Fabry Co., Cubs team card, has the normal blue blank back....with no ink on it Show a blotter if you care to. It's all fun (and rather addictive)....regards

Very nice. It sort of harkens back to "A Yard of the Naional Game", or whatever it's called.

So far I have stayed out of this water ... it seems very warm, but very deep. Probably soon, I will no longer be able to resist getting my toe wet.

edited to add: I have purchased some n/s Military blotters.

These Blotters are quite nifty (and are rarely talked about). Hope more people can post a few additional ones. I saw one in Lelands a couple of years ago with Jackie Robinson touting racial equality. Very cool piece, in which I was the underbidder

If anyone has this unusual example, please post it! Also, Leon... shouldn't these non-card threads reside on the other (memorabilia) side? Doesn't matter to me, but it seems there's less "traffic" over there...

I consider these blotters to be kind of "tweeners" between cards and memorabilia....In retrospect I probably should have posted over there. I did start collecting them before we had a memorabilia side and have personally always considered them advertising cards....

No tweener to me.
The subject is baseball.
The item is a card.
Its backing absorbs ink.
