Default USPS theft

Posted By: John S

I had a card stolen in the mail. I received the envelope directly from mail carrier so it did not happen post-delivery. The envelope had been slit down the side and contents removed. I know my carrier very well and am not concerned with him.

I am waiting on a scan from the seller to post. The card is an E254 Hunter with a deep diagonal crease on the lower right portion of the card. This is $15 card...no big loss. I am more concerned with preventing future incidents. It would be nice to nab the scumbag.

My postmaster said that this is the third similar complaint in the last week.
