Default 1915 Cracker Jack Joe Jackson Sale

Did anyone else notice this auction this morning on Ebay. It was a PSA 5 Cracker Jack Joe Jackson with a buy it now for 8K. I saw the auction at about 9:00 this morning and felt I had see this card recently offered. By the time I checked on VCP and went back to the auction to compare it with one recently sold by prewarcollector...it was sold. The card sold in June for $10,700 (by prewarcollector) and the current seller doesn't seem to have sales consistant with a card like this in his past dealings. Just curious if anyone else noticed and or purchased the card.

Sold a '52 Mantle (PSA5) yesterday and have another one (PSA4) currently at auction as well.

Yes I saw that, and I was going to put an offer in, but then after reviewing the sellers sale history, I backed off. It is fishy that this seller has 2 iconic cards for sale, yet has really sold nothing else sportscard related.

Default Probably a hacked account

How do you go from selling young girls clothing to high-dollar vintage baseball cards?

This auction didn't pass the smell test. But maybe it was a fluke and the seller is a divorcing woman selling hubby's cards? And if that wasn't the case and she is selling hubby's cards then divorce is next .

It is the exact same scan as the one sold by PWC so would guess it is a bad deal

The seller of the Jackson left feedback for the buyer so it looks like the buyer has paid....

I would think it is a hacked account for two reasons: 1) Before these cards were listed the last Feed Back for the account was given in October, 2011. 2) They are now selling YouTube views, 750,000 and 500,000.

How you sell YouTube views, I don't know but they are trying it and with Free Shipping to boot.

I was interested at first but as others here have stated their were quite a few concerns when I started to dig further.

"Hey honey, where did you get that new necklace?"

"Well I was watching a re-run of Antiques Roadshow and saw this woman with these old Cracker Jack cards. They were worth big money! I thought to myself, you have some of those!"

Look at their past auctions. The seller has 2 different 1952 Topps Mantle's that they have put up recently. Hmmmmm.......a Cracker Jack Joe Jackson and not 1, but 2 different '52 Mantles. Something smells real bad!

Default Fishy you bet also the 52 psa 7 mantle is another strange one

I did not like this offer, seemed strange to underprice it, was not going to chance it. Also did anyone see the psa 7 52 mantle that went for 12600. Not same seller but also very strange. Lasted about an hour and is in completed auctions list.
