Default Easiest subjects to collect all T206 backs?

I do not know much about the T206 set and maybe this subject has been discussed before, but if I decided to collect all backs of the T206 set with the same front, what would be the "easiest" (as far as finding them and also money wise) subject or group of subjects to pick? (I know as much as to say is not the Wagner )

Thanks for your responses!

Eduardo

If you don't have a favorite player or card you like I would do your favorite team and that way won't be as limited since some players only have a small number of different backs and others almost have them all. Good luck and have fun !!

I think it would be one of the 150 series only cards... With those you avoid chasing after exotic backs, you would need 2 different factories of Piedmont, 2 different factories of Sweet Caporal, a Sovereign, and a Hindu maybe.

If that's not what you meant then there's no easy way... you're looking at needing Broad Leaf 460, Uzit, Lennox... nothing easy about that.

Don't really have an answer for you, but figured I'd share that I'm working on all three Lajoie poses. Still need about a dozen or so, depending on what backs you believe exist.

It's been a fun project.

I have 13 of 15 possible Rube Waddell front/back combos. I have to scan the backs when I get a chance.

Only missing Brown Hindu Portrait and Sov350 Throwing

Default Rob D....re..Lajoie (with bat)

Very impressive array of T206 Lajoie cards.

Looks like you only need the Black LENOX and PIEDMONT 460 Factory #42 cards to complete your Batting pose run....since,
BROAD LEAF 460, DRUM, and Red HINDU are No-Prints for this subject.

Default As others have said

there's no easy way. Frankly, if I were to start something like that, I'd simply pick a player for whom I could easily find a Drum, BL 460 or Uzit back and go from there. There is no player for which you can easily find all three of those backs.

Well, the St louis Demmitt only has one back.

I thought it would be hard to find one with few or no tough backs, but it's not that hard.
The southern leaguers already mentioned
even the rest of the southern leaguers with a hindu back would only have 3 backs.

Abbattichio with brown sleeves has a bunch of backs and the only one that's at all tough is Hindu. There's probably a number of others like that too.

The Wagner only has 2 backs, 3 if you count different factories. all of them easy ones
Does anyone know if a set of all 3 wagners has been done?

Default Rob D.

Great Lajoie master collection. Here's the elusive Piedmont 42 with bat, which I was fortunate enough to pick-up back in '05. There are a few of them out there.
