Default Question about Parker Brothers Peg Baseball Game

Posted By: hockey jim

Hi all. Today I stumbled upon a Parker Brothers game called Peg Baseball. The only info I can find is for the 1940's version and later. I am pretty sure this version is from 1910-1920. The graphics and colors do not match up with the info i found for the later version. Has anyone seen or know anything about this item? I want to go back and buy it but I need some info.

Also picked up a House of David(1925-29) postcard today, which I guess is pretty common and a ticket stub from the 1953 World Series.

It seems to be just the board though.

Default Question about Parker Brothers Peg Baseball Game

You need the book BASEBALL GAMES by Mar k Cooper. He illustrates a few versions. It appears Peg started in 1908.

Very nice, sold for $150-200 each. The lithographs on the early versions are really nice.

Thanks Scott. They want $250 for this one. It's complete and has nice eye appeal, but the box is pretty beat and missing 2 of the sides. So i guess I'll hold out for a better one.

Jim
