Default Broadway Rick?

This sounds almost too good to be true. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=86840&item=5158280183&rd=1

My memory seems to think that some posters have said 'Broadway Rick' is about as reliable as his name sounds. Is this right? That Jackson would look nice on my wall.

This is a second go around, did not meet the reserve the first time. I bid but less that I would if it was someone else. (Oh, the power I wield, )

mabjae,

The 1911 M101-2 Joe Jackson is probably legit but if you take a close look, you'll notice that there is damage at the corners and along the edges (particularly the left edge). Also, the bottom has been trimmed off and the "Cleveland American League" caption is missing.

Some of the other Supplements seem to exhibit similar problems.

In the ebay ad Joe Wood is listed as a Hall of Famer. Now maybe he should be a Hall of Famer, but he is not.
