Default Anyone know what these are?

Seller claims they were printed in '33, but they're the size of modern cards and look/feel/smell like late '50s.

You might wish to have Leon smell them to confirm. I understand he charges $2 per sniff (non-refundable, shipping/handling extra). Only $1.25 if he only uses one nostril.

BTW, smelling is ok but insertion fee is extra Reminds me of the Cheech and Chong skit.."up his nose it goes"...sorry I digress.....actually without seeing the cards better the black and white ones are tough to tell and the one on the right looks like some kind of Fleer or early 60's commemorative (sp?).....but there are hundreds on the board (especially MW and Frank) who would know about this better.... very hard to smell a scan regards all

I could give them to MW to sleep with - perhaps he could coax their secrets from them

look like TCMA cards from 1970's 1980's. The ones on the left are reprints of team premiums from the 1940's (IF they're normal card sized). I can find out what the premium names are for you.
FYI,
Tom

I have these TCMA cards with the "puzzle" back -- the back image actually exists as some sort of a premium by Goudey too I think but without the text identifying Mack and McGraw (I have it .. it's kinda neat).

Is a rip-off of a National Chicle Fine Pen premium from the 1930's. These are probably Broder or TCMA (worthless) collector cards from the last two decades

The seller insisted they were printed in 1933. He also sold me a "Mint" '39 Cobb stamp that had tape on the back. Not smart purchasing on my part!

Card on the right is TCMA. have one sitting in front of me. I had two, but I just sold one of them, along with a crappy reprint Cobb stamp, and some 30's reprints, to some guy on Ebay... Kidding. Too funny, Scott. Has the guy agreed to at least refund your money without giving you a big hassle?

No, of course I haven't had a response to my emails. I have a habit of "pulling the trigger" fast, but all you can do is educate yourself and go at it with confidence, or you'll miss more good deals than the bad deals you make. I violated my own rule of not touching anything past WWI - I just don't know enough to bid intelligently.

No, zero replies to email. This is the person I recently left my first negative feedback for, and also who I reported to ebay fraud.

I mailed the two cards back to her, along with a 1939 Cobb stamp, advertised as "Mint", but which has tape residue on the back, and I just got the whole lot back in the mail from her, along with a letter.

In her letter she tells me to check Beckett - that it allows for problems with mint items. She also said that she will give me a refund for the two fakes if I can give her a notarized letter from an expert! I am really pissed. James, can you direct me to the fake cards in the 2002 SCD catalog so I have something to send to the FBI internet fraud division?

Thanks,Scott
