I've never seen one before in person. Have any "cancelled" cards ever shown up like the 1933 George C. Miller cards?

Hi David. I've never seen or heard of a cancelled Newsboys card. I'd love to hear if anyone ever has.

+1. I have never seen anything cancelled or stamped redeemed or anything. Often redeemed cards have wholes punched in them; I have never seen a whole punched newsboy

Hope they didn't have to ride all the way up to Coney Island from Baltimore in that thing!

(p.s. Good to see you posting Richard, hope all is well!)

Great cards everyone

I count 41 heads on that wagon. Also, because of the photo, it is neat to have such a narrow time frame of when these cards were likely issued (June + July of 1911).

My guess is that they didn't cancel or destroy them, they just put them back into packs. Totally speculative, but it fits in with the prize being only to the first 35.
