you obviously pegged his ass!

note the comment and response! It's too funny especially considering the scan. I wrote him as well and some of you might so he gets a clue. He actually posted the comment and his absurd and ignorant reply! What a guy!

I love pinatas. You get to beat the crap of something and get rewarded with candy.

Maybe his grandfather didn't like him and stashed reprints all over the house for him to find after the old man passed away. I might have to keep that in mind later on if my kids turn out to be rotten.

It's simple, grandapa kept his valuable cards in the attic because he always feared a flood. This way here they wouldn't get water damage. Too bad this nimrod couldn't see these responses!!

Frank, that was a question that the seller needed to hear. Also, I've always thought beig called a smart a** was much better than being called a dumb a**, so that's no big deal, & dont let it bother you Who is that youareascamartist bidder? Whoever he or she is, they are awesome!

Putting aside the issue of authenticity, my question about these types of fakes is
why would a person want to pay money for something so ugly. Isn't the object of
collecting to purchase things you enjoy looking at, rather than that induces vomiting?

For the average person off the street, he would wonder why someone would pay $300,000+
for the infamous 'blue eyed' Honus Wagner as the card appeared so dirty and ugly and cheap.
And, the average person off the street would have it right. It was the sellers who
didn't realize that, irrelevant to authenticity issues, card collectors aren't going
to spend a small fortune on something that you have to have hidden from view at
meal time.

If HBO or the Daily News wondererd why the card didn't sell, all you'd have to tell them
is "Because it's ugly." No need to explain the authenticity issues. If the reporter
asked you to explain yourself, you would have the reporter compare side by side sharp digital
pictures of the 'blue eyed' Wagner with any number of SGC and PSA graded Wagners.
After comparison, the HBO or Daily News reporter would say, "I see what you mean.
That card is ugly."

If you check his other auctions, he has a 1953 Topps Ralph Kiner. In the secondary headline, he says Kiner is a member of the 500 Home Run club.

Scams and ignorance like this make me sad to live in Indiana.....
