This board is very good about outing potential late payers or deadbeats. I would always encourage folks to try to work things out privately first but after that, by all means, post it. You MUST put your name or well known Net54 ID handle by your post in these instances. The old Trader Speaks used to "out" rats too.....I have no idea about this person or issue(s) but hope it/they get worked out. regards

Took a wee bit o' time, but the buyer has contacted me and made good on his end of the transaction. Thus far, I've never had a bad transaction on this board. Thank goodness for another VBC Happy ending !

If this is not an isolated case it still is not a good situation. Let me remind everyone of a few tidbits about the BST pages. Good ethics are a requirement. If you are doing transactions and can not pay off the ones you are currently doing then you really shouldn't be starting new ones. In other words take care of outstanding (older BST issues) before beginning new ones. The BST pages are a privilege not a right. I have never (that I can remember) banned anyone from the BST area. It's caveat emptor over there but if I hear too much about a single person then I can step in and ask them not to post there anymore. That is a last resort and I have never done it before, though I might have asked a few people to slow down a little bit. I get lots of emails about stuff but the BST area is one I prefer not to moderate too much. I have only moderated over there when I had too. best regards

wow! i feel like crap now. serves me right i guess.

i have contacted those of you who requested me to. 1st off i want to apologize for those of you whom had to deal with my delays or reminding me of our agreements. please understand those are not my intentions. sometimes this hobby gets the best of me and im like a kid in a candy store.i want more , more , and more. i always intend to pay and to try and pay on time.

I read Leon post and i agree with him and i would hate to be banned from this forum, there are days that all i look forward to is this forum, to see the recent pickups or show mine off proudly or give my thoughts on a certain subject that i can relate to, even some of the drama that unfolds sometimes is interesting. but ofcourse the best part is the B/S/T. i will take Leon advice very seriously and take a step back for now until my old b/s/t/ issues are resolved.

to those of you whom i have agreements with and i have already sent partial payments to i appreciate your paitence and understanding. please contact me if you want to discuss where we stand. some checks are on the way (getting paid biweekly sometimes really sucks) so plz be a bit paitent with me and i assure you they will arive.

just so everyone knows i use 2 emails, the one you see listed on the vbc is brwneyechicano@yahoo.com (home email) but during the day i also use my work email which is jpelayo@challengerone.com. just wanted to throw that out to make everyone aware nothing fishy going on.

thanks to everyone ive dealt with in the past , to those of you who i am dealing with currently , and to those that i may have the oppurtunity to do business with in the future.

my days are long as you can see it is about 11 pm california time as i write this and my day just ended.most of the week its out of work and 1 hour drive to pick my kid up and then thats when mr.mom kicks in.then its back home to the VBC! i know im not the only one with long days so to those of you who can relate to this single parent daily routines, i salute you!

I think your response was nice. Everyone gets bogged down from time to time but most people get all upset when they get called out on things like that. I dont think there is a person on this board that has not overspent at one time or another, in fact I dont even know if you can call yourself a true collector unless you have! I am glad things got taken care of but it is cool in todays day and age for people to stand up and take responsibilty for things in a civil tone.

Thanks for your mature response. I, and almost everyone without a 7 figure income, have spent more at sometime or another than they mean to. Your response really says a lot about you. My comment was meant in a constructive friendly way. I appreciate you taking a step back and taking care of the things you already have going. I rarely post about this stuff but with my responsibility to the board I felt I needed to. I hope you find all of the good cards you are looking for.....in due time . I agree with what was posted above about your response. I will also add that we all have been there - I dont think anyone is immune from buying a card before they've budgeted for the expense. Its probably a good thing in reality - why do you think most cards show up on b/s/t to begin with if not to pay for other purchases?
