Default Fullerton Union High School (CA)

Four pitchers who have attended Fullerton Union High School in Fullerton California:

Steve Busby
Walter Johnson
Michael Lorenzen
Mike Warren

have all thrown a no-hitter.

Pretty cool.

They played at the Highland & Commonwealth Ave field where Babe Ruth also played at.

Ha! The original Fullerton Union that WaJo attended burned down around 1910, was rebuilt, and at some point became just Fullerton H.S. for the town. I would guess that the others went to Fullerton without the union. That is amazing that four pitchers from there threw no-hitters in the bigs, and makes me wonder how many major leaguers went there in total. Arky Vaughn was one, and president Richard Nixon. Kevin Costner played baseball at Fullerton J. C.

I live about 20 minutes from Fullerton and always pass by there going to the beach and Angel games. Angels manager Phil Nevin played at Cal State Fullerton and many other big leaguers as well. Lots of MLB talent has come out of SoCal.
