If you have Mark Rucker's book Base Ball Cartes, it's photo #26. It's a really nice CdV and likely the first to picture a major Connecticut ballclub. I was one of the underbidders.

I wonder if anyone bid on it looking for a Candy Cummings piece? I researched it quite thoroughly and was satisfied that Cummings was not pictured.

I was the underbidder but Bobby Sui bid so basically that means no matter wat I had bid he would have beat me. It was a nice CDV but I was really surprised at the price for an ebay auction.

I was watching this also & was thinking like Phil. Just out of curiosity Phil, did you think the guy on the far right of the CDV was Cummings? When you look at the Google images of the Hartford Dark Blues team photo the hairdoo is similar.
