Default Postman Buries Mail in Backyard, Spends Day at Tavern

I am frustrated I have not received a 1951 Yakima Bears team photo I purchased on March 9, then saw this story. Ever wonder why you have not received a package. Hopefully this was not your mail man.

This is scary. I have just got off the phone not 10 min. ago with the post office because a tracking number for a lot of cards bought from the last CC auctions I have shows it was delivered March 25th, yet I still haven't seen it. I called the place I moved from this last month and they claim they don't have it either.

Just remember, delivery confirmation is just that, confirmation that the package was delivered. Doesn't guarantee that it was delivered to the right address, or that nobody swiped it off the porch, or that your jealous son didn't get the package from the mailman and run and hide it in his room so that his brother wouldn't see it, or that your senile father doesn't have it in his stack of mail. As a seller, I get asked at least once a week where someone's package is and when I check the tracking, it shows as delivered. At least 9 times out of 10, it's not the P.O. that made a mistake. Of course, I've never shipped anything to Hood Canal either

Nope. USPS had it. I just got confirmation from my wife that she got it today. So USPS said it was delivered March 25th. Even when I talked to them on the phone they said shows it was delivered but would look into it. Now it shows up today, April 5th. Now the tracking number shows a fixed "delivered" date as well.

Good, I'm glad it finally made its way to you! Like I said, 9 times out of 10, but it's not EVERY time that the USPS is innocent.
