Default question regarding t205 & t207 back rarity

Posted By: Ben

Does anybody have a link to an article which summarizes the various brands and rarities of t205 or t207 backs?

Or if experts on either of these sets could give a brief summary, that would be much appreciated!

Happy holidays,

Ben

T205 backs (rarest first)

1. Drum 15x-20x
2. Hindu 3x-4x
3. Broadleaf 3x-4x
4. Cycle 2x
5. American beauty 2x
6. Polar Bear 30%
7. Sovereign 30%
8. Honest long cut 30%
9. Hassan 30%
10. Sweet Caporal
11. Piedmont

Still unclear about t207 though...

Ben, I would generally agree with what you've found, with a few minor modifications. For Drum, I'd use a factor of 20-25X, for Hindu 10-12X and for Broadleaf 5-6X.

In increasing order of rarity:

1) Recruit
2) Anonymous Factory 3
3) Napoleon
4) Broadleaf
5) Red Cycle
6) Anonymous Factory 25
7) Red Cross (next to impossible)

There are some exceptions:
Scarce cards with Recruit backs include Collins, Graham, Henry, Hooper, Livingston "A", Livingston "C", McKechnie, Mitchell Cle., Speaker and Zeider.

as opposed to T207 which is not only masochistic but will become an obsession. All T205s are obtainable, although Joss and Moran stray line are very, very scarce.

except for the "impossible" (at least for me)and very expensive Hoblitzell no stats card which is the only card I need to finish my set. I waited for Santa to bring it but I guess I wasn't a good boy this year.

Call me old school, but I just can see paying a premium for Polar Bear, Hassan and others you list at 30% just because they really are not that much tough than SC and Piedmant to warrant it. Even ABs seemed pretty plentiful to me, although noticably less common than those.
