Default 3,000 post club

According to Net54, this is officially my 3000th post. I was a member about 20 years ago under a different username I think, so if you count those (like Ichiro's hits in Japan) the number would be 4,000 and change; but in any case, I'd like to mark this occasion by opening a tribute thread of cards of members of the 3,000 hit club. I think it's most appropriate to start with Clemente.

I am a member of the 3000+ Plate Appearances club, because I know deep down in my heart that only a certain amount of my posts could be counted as hits toward that 3000 hit amount.

This is why I am including a scan of an E98 identified as Cy Young (3104 career Plate Appearances), because I am an im-poster as well (Irv Young only had 498 career Plate Appearances, so technically I shouldn't have posted this E98 that actually depicts him either).

Welcome!

And since I don't have many scanned cards and do have some very iffy ones, this will have to do.

I just went over the 4,000 post mark myself and didn't even realize it, so here's an Ichiro card commemorating his 3,000th MLB hit, which with his 1,278 hits in Japan put him over 4,000 hits as a pro.

With post #3,268 (and a very long career on Net54), I recently passed Eddie Murray and am shooting for Mays (#13 all time):

Glenn, congrats! I didn't realize that I had passed the 3,000 posts mark until I read this thread.

HOFer Sam Rice is a member of the MLB 3,000 hit club, if one counts ALL of his hits: 2,987 regular season + 19 World Series = 3,006 MLB hits.
