Default Request for advice

I'm thinking about starting a blog about sports (mostly baseball) pinback buttons. Maybe I would write on a new topic each month. The problem is I am computer illiterate. I don't even know how to post pictures of pins electronically. Let's assume I learn to master this daunting task. How do you create/start a blog? How do you tell people it even exists? How would I tell people I have made a monthly update to it? Is there a good book or resource on "Blogging for Dummies?" I'm a product of the paper-and-ink era of communication, and all this electonic/computer stuff is unnerving to me. Any advice on how to get started would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Paul

I would recommend using Blogger, which is through Google. It's easy to set up and easy to use. It also has features built in to share articles. You can visit mine, which is through Blogger, for an example. The link is in my signature.

Word Press can be really easy to use too. You basically select your template and then all you have to do is drop in photos and text. It can do more complicated things too if you learn how to do them.
