Default Sportscard/memorabilia-themed cruise?

Speaking with a co-worker about his upcoming trip, a Caribbean cruise, and he asked if there was ever a sportscard/memorabilia-themed cruise. I can't recall ever hearing of such a thing, but have to think that such an event would be popular.

There is a cruise each year which isn't solely dedicated to Red Sox fans, but is billed as a Red Sox cruise. They have events each day with former players. I've never been, but it sounds like the closest thing to what you're referring to.

You'd need another version of the old SNL spoof commercial, with Chris Farley and Adam Sandler at the pool, doing a beer ad for Schmitt's Fat.

"Card Overboard" would elicit a greater response than "Man Overboard"

I saw an ad on TV recently for a Weekly Standard cruise. I like the Weekly Standard and all, but a cruise?! but I digress...

An NSCC cruise would be interesting. How would you deal with getting ripped off in international waters? I can see international postal inspectors on speed boats riding up alongside the cruise ship and coming aboard like pirates.

It would be a great idea, if it wasn't such a bad idea.

No wife here. I don't know if that would be considered an advantage in this swap meet.

I could make a fortune offering special pricing to Net54 members on pre cruise back waxing.

As lame as a Sportscard/Memorabilia themed cruise sounds, I'm sorry to say it wouldn't even crack the Top 10 lamest cruise themes ever.

Note: These are all real cruises, that people actually pay money for.

10 Worst Cruise Themes of All Time

Gladiators & Empires: The Roman Empire (Think unkempt, overweight, 60 year-old men in togas)

7th Annual John Heald Bloggers Cruise (How did they not stop after the 1st Annual?)

Duck Dynasty Cruise (I can't be the only one tired of these guys, right? Their 15 minutes of fame has lasted about two years too long)

Lewis & Clark Cruise (Yes, the explorers.)

Psychics Unleashed 3 (BYO crystal ball)

Transatlantic Knitting Cruise w/ Mary Jane Mucklestone (Unofficial Cruise Motto "If you can't knit, you ain't sh*t!)

Cruise & Crop with Likety Split Scrapbooks (Seriously, I couldn't make this stuff up.)

Sobriety Cruise - Gratitude at Sea (I thought the whole purpose of cruising was to drink copious amounts of alcohol and fornicate)

Paranormal at Sea 2014 (Special guest: The short woman with the annoying voice from Poltergeist) (RIP Zelda Rubenstein)

CuteTee's Couples Cruise (The Price's Right meets Joanie Loves Chachi)

Advertisement for the cruise would be simple:

"Come one, come all"......Well, actually, please don't.

This is the Cruise I would choose. I would have to believe that at least one of thos Psychics would know if the boat was going to hit an iceberg.

I'm wondering if people responding have ever been on a cruise. From my experience cruises do not have any eye candy to speak of. Most passengers are old and/or overweight, therefore it's already a sausage fest.
