Default T202 Questions

Hey all...long time listener, seldom time poster...

Does anyone here strictly collect the center panel in the T202s? I've come across a handful and was thinking of piecing the "set" together...or would this be too difficult. Are there a ton out there that have become "detached" from their end panel brothers? There are 76 total, correct?

Just wondering if this is a fruitless endeavor or if there is enough product out there to get it done eventually. I've was never interested in the set previously so I didn't look for it at shows or online...etc. Hoping for others opinions. Also, what's a fairly decent price for the center panels by themselves? Obviously aware that condition and specific cards affect price.

Thanks in advance.

prices are inconsistent since you are only collecting the center panel only.

Would probably be alot easier although it will cost much more to complete the set of buying full authentic cards.

Be patient at whichever path you choose...

Good Luck

you can buy the whole thing in lower grade and sell the panels seperately. I see them all the time on Ebay and they normally sell pretty well. Just a thought

Default Center panel prices

The center panels are pretty cheap - they usually go for about $10 or so, maybe $20 for a HOFer. I've seen Cobb center panels go in the $75 range pretty regularly. I've bought them in lots before, just because I love the pics. If you put a list togther, maybe we can get a trade going. While you're at it, you might as well buy each end panel as well...they are about the same prices...maybe $100-$150 for a Cobb.

Cheers,
Geno
