Default Buff Dealer of the Year Award

Posted By: Jay Miller

After reading Julies glowing description of Terry Knouse I realize that there is an aspect of these dealers that I had never given much thought to. Therefore, I propose that right here, right now, we elect the "Buff Dealer of the Year". I would like to start the ball rolling by nominating David Festberg. David has been lifting weights for a while now so he should excell in the speedo competition and, based on the what I have read on the board about his business practices, he won't need to oil up for the pose down.

BcD just sent me his picture to prove he has hair still residing on his head, after seeing it I"d nominate him for buff dealer of the year. And lets make the contestants use their own cards for the slab cracking competition.

I suggest they use butter knives, to really test their skills.

Depends if they are grading themselves or having independant judges grade them. I think Lew would grade his figure excellent while most would just say fair to good.

Steroids are definately not allowed. Only the cards can be doctored, not the dealers.

I use Creatine & Glutamine & am not a dealer

Scott Broc8leman wins hands down but Brian Wentz is a big guy with a big card collection and wallet. He and Scott can pull down the curtain on collecting and dealing......his little fella brother Michael is just that...a little fella, weighing in at a slivery 189lbs....he has pencil arms in comparison to some others. My dear old dad "Wylie E Coyote" has 20 inch arms and is also well disqualified.
I vote for Leon! His dome is the hardest thing I have ever attempted to get through! He is a champ among us testostorone chasers and his card collection is growing every day.

I object to your attachment of the term "slivery" to the very modest figure of 189 pounds! When I was an even more "slivery" 156 there was an all-South Texas offensive tackle that used to make fun of my "pencil thinness" in college. After arranging a wrestling match in the dorm hall and pinning him in less than two minutes, it all stopped. Of course, nothing counts if you can't hit a curve-ball.

We prefer terms like "sinewy" and "spendidly splinter-like"!

I spent a tiny portion of my comments saying that terry Knouse looked nice.

I'm reminded of the photo someone posted in a thread of a high school picture of Christy Mathewson. Everyone was saying it was "amazing," "fantastic." Only I said "That's one of most beasutiful faces I ever saw." It was.

Are you guys making fun of me? That's really silly.

"splendidly splintery", it should be. that's great!
And terry weighs a pultry 135lbs or so......but he carries his cards around a lot..thus "scales" at about 178lbs.........big dealers are 205++ "WyliE Coyote" expert on trimming.....weighs in at about 245lbs...
