Default Anyone Recognize These 19th Century Uniforms?

I know this is a local team, but the uniform is pretty distinctive so I am hoping maybe someone has seen it before. It appears to be K Co with a wagon wheel in the middle.

From what I can tell on the dating, this looks like circa 1890 to me. The ring bat on the ground looks like 1890-1912 period, I don't know about the one being held by the guy on the left, the gloves are the workman style (1880-1900), the catcher's mask looks like the 1890s, and the chest protector I am not really sure about.

Also, the pug and the ghost sitting on the bench on the left are both pretty awesome, not to mention the train. It is tough to make out the image reflected in the window, but it looks like it might be a mill belching smoke.

Slim possibility of someone else seeing it or one like it BUT that is a great photo. I agree with your dating of circa 1890....

Knights of Columbus? Just a WAG and first thing I thought of when I saw the photo.

Maybe a wheel manufacturer? Here's a link to a list from that time period..

There is a "K" brand made by Herbert M. Kenyon of Ashoway, RI in 1896. Could be from a local league of area companies...

I initially thought it possibly Knights of Columbus when I first saw this thread however I have never seen other K of C uniforms even similar to these. Also, K of C formed in 1882 so I doubt that it had expanded enough in a decade to be associated with these guys. Neat photo on any account.
