Default A milestone reached

Up until a few years ago, I never considered collecting 1952 Topps baseball cards. I had read the stories and bought into the rumors. I had about 3 or 4 commons in rough shape in my collection from years past. Then over the last couple of years, I made a series of very satisfactory deals at the show I go to and found myself one card away from the low number run.. Willie Mays.

A couple of weeks back, I made a posting about the 1952 Topps set and if anyone had conquered the beast. I noted needing Willie to complete the run. Because of that, I got a PM from Paul S. who had a "beater" copy that he was considering selling. After a few emails a deal was hammered out at a VERY fair price and the card arrived today. Thank you Paul for helping me accomplish this milestone. As a long time baseball card collector and fan of cards, this means a great deal to me.

Thanks.. Tom
