Default CHRISTY MATHEWSON sweater ad

Has anyone seen a Blauvelt sweater ad with a picture of Matty and a facmile signature on it? It measures about 8"x11" and has a blank back on paper. Looks original to me. D.

Is it thick paper stock or just thin paper?

Personally, I've never seen this ad. If its cheap enough, I would just take a chance with it.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

This clip, from Philip Seib's Matty bio "The Player", shows there there did exist magazine ads for the Blauvelt sweaters. The piece in question, however, being blank-backed, could be either a fly-in addenda type ad from a mail-order catalog, or, more likely, a promo to dealers (possibly from a wholesale-type catalog).

Looks to be a magazine ad, but still nice.
