Default O'Connell & Son 8 1/2 x 11's

I have had these a long time and haven't seen any around.
These are approx. 8 1/2 x 11. It says they were in a series of 500.
Anyone know anything about them?o'connell 1.jpg

Those were part of a series of oddball cards produced and drawn by T.S. O'Connell, the former editor of Sports Collector's Digest.

Not sure they were ever officially licensed and they don't have a huge collector following. I'm guessing value is somewhere between $5 and $10 based on recent ebay sold listings.

O'Connell formerly was the editor(?) of SCD and left that pub about 10 years ago. He illustrated many of his columns with similar artwork he created. Kevin Savage Cards has a ton of these coming up in his auctions this week. Check them out to get an idea of value for yours. Never cared for this style, but with all art, to each his own.

Default O'connell & son

I have already learned something. Didn't know he was a former editor of
Sports Collectors Digest.

I know these were not particularly popular and I have all the mini's
I was just wondering how many of the 8 1/2 x 11's are around and
if they were a set of a number of players.
