Read the blog, Al! It's linked for you and everything, man. It's a great read.

Speaking of that blog, thanks to Bob also for the story on Danny Breeden that appears below the narrative on 1963 Post. A well-written account of a very sad event and its aftermath. Btw, did you happen to learn whether Danny and his brother Hal ever appeared in the same game during their brief time together on the 1971 Cubs? I'm too lazy to research it.

Todd, While researching my Danny Breeden blog post, I recall reading that while the brothers were on the same team for a time, they never played in the same game; ought to be easy enough to verify on baseball-reference.com .

Al,

Unlike my new 1962 project, it was easy to find seven players for my '63s.

In fact, I have a list of more than 20 other possibilities -- rookies, team changes, etc. -- that I expect to work with some day.
