Default Looking for your thoughts

I have this 1962-64 Baseball Penny Gumball Machine. Some of the paint on the glass on the inside has worn off. Should I have it repainted or leave it like it is. Does anyone know were I can get another painted glass? Thanks for any help or suggestions! D.

I wouldn't paint over the original graphic myself.

There's a sign man in town that can make amazing designs in decal with his laser cutter. See if you can have a dup made to stick on the outside of the glass, protecting the originality of that stellar piece.

Default The name of the place is "I like it like that"...

I may be in the minority - but unless something is in bad shape - the normal wear and tear from usage is part of the charm of something vintage.

I think that piece looks great - as is.

Don't touch it, leave as is, you will be happy you did not repaint the piece.

AGREE.... Leave it in its original state, as it looks great as-is. Once you alter it, it's no longer true to its history. Don't touch this one!!!

Thanks everyone! I think I will leave as is but have a decal as Steve suggested made and keep it with it so you can see the teams that are missing. Thanks D.
