Default 1888 Scrapps/SGC grading

Hi, has anyone on the board had one of these cards graded? I was wondering how SGC handles the fronts that look like creasing but is just the crazing or whatever it is called.

SGC will grade them, but it will cost a few extra for the custom insert. Not sure how they handle crazing that is common with it and t207s.

i have had all my scrapps graded by sgc and they have never charged an extra fee for the insert. be prepared however to get hammered on the grade. sgc is harder on scrapps then they are on ecards. anything over vg would be considered high grade

When is the last time you submitted? Their new fee structure lists Scrapps as having a custom insert charge.

SGC used to grade these and put the card in a square well that would hold it. Now they give you the option to have it laser cut where the insert frames all parts of the player. Its very impressive and worth the few extra $ for this service...jay

I looked at The SGC site. It looks like you have to use the express submission which is $10. per card rather than $8.
