If you had the T206 Wagner in the lot, you might be able to trade for the whole upper peninsula and half the Mackinac Bridge.

None of my business I guess but wouldn't it be more realistic to trade the cards for money and then trade the money for land?

You've got a great collection here, which would net quite a bit on auction these days! Just to continue to play devil's advocate, I am willing to bet good money that the choice of properties in the hands of those who value vintage baseball cards is far more limited than the choice of properties in the hands of those who value dollars Wish I could help out!

Musical interlude

Just give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above
Don't fence me in
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love
Don't fence me in

Default How about this deal...

Fill soil runs about $20/cubic yard in Livonia. Plus delivery fee. How about I send you 6 yards of fill soil for your T200 Washington card?

This has the potential to be the strangest thread in the history of Net 54...and that's saying something.

Best of luck, t206madman.

I think it would be safer to sell cards to some of the good people on this board than to trade cards for land. Besides, it's a needle in a haystack that someone has the plot of land you want and at the same time wants to own those exact cards. But it's not hard to buy land with cash. Just my three cents.

How about a small cottage in Flint Michigan complete with the old lead water pipes?

Any interest in selling them? Would be interested in Evers (Cubs on shirt) and Tinker (bat off shoulder).

I have 4.96 acres in Florissant, CO. I'm asking $37,000.
Looking directly east at Pike's Peak from the land, 50 miles as the crow flies.

+1

Interesting concept, but I think it’ll be a near impossible fit. Sell the cards, and buy some land. Either way, best of luck.

Thank you all for the interest, I will keep everyone in mind that has messaged me. I don't really know what's so strange about this offer, it's just another trade for assets, same as someone asking to trade a Ty Cobb for a Babe Ruth. He can obviously sell the Ty Cobb and go buy a Ruth, but it's also fun and rewarding to wait and see what you may be offered. I would be honored to have the strangest post here.
The concept isn't strange..but the chances of someone on this board having land for sale in that area are extremely low. By selling the cards, you would at least have the cash on hand to go towards any plot of land you wanted. Regardless, good luck on your search and your card collection is very nice.

I have land in Wisconsin only a stone's throw from the UP if you have a strong arm.

Sadly it's not. On the bright side, it's in a nice secluded alley right around the corner from a Little Caesar's!

Default U.P. Or Lower Michigan?

Are you looking for the land to be in lower Michigan or in the upper peninsula?
