Default Question regarding 1957 Spic and Span cards..

Hi, I just looked at a full set of 1957 Spic and Span Milwaukee Braves cards.
The cards measure 4X5, but have a glossy finish. Are these cards supposed to have a glossy finish? They were in a photo album so the backs do have vertical brownish lines, but no tape or glue stains. When he pulled one out (the Aaron) it curled up. Any help would be apprecialted...He wanted $500.00 for the set...

Thanks,

Paul

The cards do have a glossy finish, similar to what you'd see on the page of a magazine. But in my opinion $500 is asking way too much for a set in the condition you describe.
