Default Another responsible auctioneer

Rob Hennessee Auctioneers, Valrico, FL

I contacted them today about the usual batch of forgeries. Included Mantle, Williams, Aaron, Ryan, Marino, Jackson and combinations. Typical 5x7's and plaques. One hour and 21 minutes later I got a response and the items were pulled, along with a note that he was contacting the sheriffs office.

These are the first that I have run across in about a month, and Rob has made it a majority of auctioneers (6 for 11) who have responded positively with both their words and actions.

So some good news for the good guys!

Thanks Rob for making it harder for the scammers!

I'd love to see additions to this thread. We see all the bad guys, let's give some credit to those who do right.

County Line Auctions
3043 Drane Field Rd
Lakeland, FL
863-940-4842

Got a call in an hour and 20 minutes (beating Rob H. by 1 minute!) after my email informing me they had pulled the forgeries. There were 3 different COA's, all the usual. We had a nice conversation, and he is going to contact the sheriff.

Now, if you don't think that is good news, Google "Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd".

The stats are now 8 for 13 who have removed items prior to the hammer. Out of the other 7, five have not had any repeats (although that may just be opportunity), one is no longer accessible online, and one is a complete and utter douche-bag.

(Disclaimer: I have been to this auction many times, and will continue to do so.)

Nice going.
These items never even left the state of Florida.
Forged in Florida, sent to an auction in Florida and rejected in Florida.
Good news coming out of Florida for a change.
Good to see guys becoming active trying to stop forgeries instead of just sitting around and making posts on Net54.
