Default Question about Play Ball Error Card

My Dad is visiting for the holidays and brought this Play Ball card he found that has the wrong player's name on the back. As I collect t206s (and he doesn't really collect vintage cards at all), I don't know much about this set. Is this type of error common? Any estimates on the value?

Thanks,
David R

Hi David,

Although I don't really follow Play Ball's, I have seen more than a few of them over time.

Here are a couple other examples:

I can tell you the back in no way aligns withe front. The PB ad is suppose to be on the bottom not the top. Not sure about the err part, but definitely a MC.

They are not rare I see them on Ebay all the time now if you find one with a full back and not miscut then you have something. For some reason all of the ones I see have backs way off center really have two cards on the back. Rob ps Frank that is a pretty good one it does not have the bottom of another card above the name
