Default Early postcard help....what is it?

Guys............I picked this up a couple days ago and can't find much information on it. I think I've seen one before, but I don't recall where. It's postmarked 1907 and the surface has some nice relief/embossing. Is it part of a set or just a lone wolf? Thanks in advance for any help........and GO TIGERS!!!

Matt

Hey Matt, it is part of a set. I remember seeing these in some auction catalogs and on EBAY. That's all know about them.

Got you right here on the Old Cardboard side -

(Looks as though we have proof that the 1910 issue date in question can be revised.)

Default thanks....

Justin..............Thanks for the link. Nice work. Yeah, I guess the publication date can be narrowed down more. Commons only valued at $8? I'd take more for that price!

Generally, that sort of PC back (address only, no message) was last made in 1906. Beginning in 1907, the reverse was split to accommodate both an address and correspondence.

Here is a similiar two tone example with the split back the post mark appears to be 1909.
