Default Ted Williams 1951 Bowman reprint?

Posted By: belle encalade

I have a few dover reprints. Big league chewing gum, cracker jack ball players, bowman, and piedmont cigarette. The bowman are 1951 Ted Williams and Larry Yogi Berra, dover reprints. The Piedmont have the district and factory numbers on them. one's a Cobb and the other is a Young. I have 20 different Big League cards and nine cracker jack ball player cards. All in excellent condition. Can anyone tell me if their worth anything or not being their reprints.
my email address is belle_hwy44nascar@yahoo.com

Thank you, Belle

As long as they say "Dover Reprints" on them they are just that - reprints. Dover is the publisher of the book the reprints came in.

I don't put extra value on reprints over their retail price.

Do others feel they have any premium value?

I feel they would be worth about the retail cost of them also. With SGC grading them I have seen some $3-$5 Wagner reprints go for $20 or more.....(although you would need to take the encapsulation fee into account as part of the purchase cost)....regards all

I would guess that the total lot is worth maybe $5-10 total.
