There have been numerous Bob Feller Nights, so I am not sure this is the same game, but July 10 1941 was 'Bob Feller Night' and Feller won his 100th game and hit a triple. Duly note that the other Bob Feller Nights I saw referenced were held on different dates and months, so it was not a case that the team designated July 10 as Bob Feller Night for every year.

David - that is wonderful information; thank you!

I suppose that would roughly translate to Derek Jeter bobble-head night in modern terminology.

When they give out Derek Jeter bobble heads to the attendees at Yankee Stadium, that essentially is 'Derek Jeter Night.'
