Great pick ups. I have always liked Bresnahan's signature.

Here are two of my pick-ups for the month:
1. Miguel Fuentes with the P R notation for Puerto Rico, and
2. W. E. "Wild Bill" Donovan
I will be getting 1 or 2 more items and will post images of them later.
Happy Collecting and good luck filling your want lists.

. . . on the W.E. Wild Bill Donovan cut from Kevin Keating and Quality Autographs and Memorabilia. Love the bold, black signature against the still vibrant yellow paper. Thanks for sharing

Great pick ups - I'm a vintage guy but I am also a Pilots fan and know M. Fuentes is a toughie. Nice Going.

Also Greg - that's a beautiful document. Happy you found it.

I'm still new to autographs but I love the old timers vintage sigs vs. their modern ones. Anyway, was happy to find this Eddie Collins.

Thanks for the compliment. I like the Eddie Collins, it is a great image with his usual legible signature. I am still looking for a photo of him, preferably an 8x10, to add to my collection.

I was very excited about getting this, since I was 15 that year and went to a ton of games that season. I cut out the box scores for the 20th win for each of the pitchers and taped them in a binder that the Orioles gave away that year (still have it - signed by Brooks Robinson on the cover). The only problem is that I want to take the picture out to get it authenticated, but I can't figure out how to get the fasteners off!

Aren't they similar to push pins? I have seen this type at shows with no photos and thought that they just pulled apart. I have never owned one as I am not a fan of signed photos sitting against a piece of plastic. Too many chances of it getting damaged.

They're more like the top half of a globe, so unlike pushpins, there's nothing to grab to pull them out.

Added to my HOF collection with a ball signed by Bill McGowan and to my WWII collection with Vern Freiberger's 1946 contract, also signed by Wm. Harridge and Roger Peckinpaugh.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If it's any consolation, Pedro A. isn't an exactly common signature, so it's still a neat 3x5 to own. And he was quite accustomed to being farmed out throughout his career so I'm sure he understands!

Take a flat blade screwdriver and carefully slide it under the plexiglass and gently twist it back and forth. The plexiglass will pull the tack up and out.

Just came back from a mini vacation and had a loaded mailbox...a few consignments, a few private signings, and a few purchases.

Picked up 2 items last week:
1. Dolph Camilli single signed ball...the ball cube is not in good shape, thus the poor photo quality. Always wanted him on a ball along with a single of Carl Furillo.
2. William " Pickles " Dillhoefer full check, from Bill Corcoran. Keeping with my category of players who died while on a major league roster either during the season or during the off-season since 1920, except HoFers. Still searching in vain for Ray Chapman and Jake Daubert.

Hoping for 1 or 2 items from REA next week.

Two new autographs in April.

Gemini 4 and Apollo 1 astronaut, Ed White. White tragically perished at age 36 in the 1967 Apollo pad fire.

Mickey Mantle signed "My Favorite Summer 1956." This completes my goal to get all three Mantle books signed.
