Default OT: Any Idea what this is?

I recently picked this up as part of a mixed lot. I have never seen this before and cannot find any info on it.

Does anyone out there know what set this came from?

Based on the shape of the cut, my guess is that this was part of a child's beanie hat. If not, maybe a banner.

Default felt

I have collected these for years but have never found a source. The child's beanie is about as good a guess as any.

Nice collection. I think it's too small for a beanie. There appears to be only a front and no back. Maybe we will find out thru this posting what they are.

Can you put a quarter in the scan so we can see the size comparison?

Here is a beanie made with a similar type of small pennant.

So I just googled some of the players names followed by beanie felt. I came up with this eBay listing.

So, I think this is what it is.
