Probably over-paid, but that's nothing new for me! I've always loved the pose and with '25s exploding I'd figure I'd go ahead and take the plunge. I was kinda surprised to see only 46 total graded between PSA and SGC.

Nice pick up! I watched that one tick down to 0 yesterday, almost almost bid but held off. Agree, it's probably a good time to snag the '27 with explosion of the '25. Would be curious to see what a '26 would get these days, since from what I've heard, they're tougher to find than the '25.

Relatively newer pickups, but not May. But fresh back from SGC...

Quite sure none of these 5 are hand cut but they grade the whole set that way.

Ruth is really nice but has a date written on the back in pen.

Dmitry, I disagree with you, based on the following narrative taken from the promotional notification I received from eBay:

"The Promotion starts at 5:00AM PT on May 6, 2017, and ends at 11:59PM PT on May 7, 2017 (the "Promotion Period"). Extra eBay Bucks can only be earned on every single item purchased that meets the minimum purchase requirement specified in the offer (a "Qualifying Purchase"). Promotion is valid on multiple qualifying purchases made within the promotion time period....Purchases must be completed during the Promotion Period and paid for with PayPal before the Promotion ends."

I've taken advantage of these bucks promos many times and have paid as much as a week later and always got the promo bucks. A Buy-It-Now auction, on the other hand, is a different story.

EDIT: I just paid for my PWCC winnings this morning (5/9), and the full 8% in eBay bucks got added to my account for the auctions that ended before the promo expired.

Thanks Ian! Years ago I almost pulled the trigger on a '21 exhibit Ruth, but never did. Now I regret it. Didn't want the same thing to happen again.

I too would be curious as to what a '26 would bring as well. They are tough for sure.

Great W575-1s. As you know SGC is currently re-evaluating the "hand cut' caveat on these cards since they are obviously not hand cut. I am sending my back to them to take another look at.....Hopefully they give us their honest opinion on the holders and not just company policy.

My new additions. I posted these in separate threads but probably should have posted them here.
First is half the Allen and Ginter N28 set. No creases but a few have what looks like a fingernail impression on the surface.
Second is my first Old Judge Cards. No creases and the backs are extremely clean.
I will probably get these graded at the next Philly show if they have on site grading.
Thanks for looking.
Robert

Nice Robert, you did well.

I really like the Anson, its usually o/c and sometimes the top of the bat runs into the border but yours has a nice gap of white there.

Nice cards Robert, your first three Old Judges represent 1887, 1888, and 1889 (right-to-left). Old Judge cards capture early baseball like no other set.

Thanks, Val, Ed, Leon, and Bryan!

Wanted to mention Ed -- great T217 pickup...beautiful card! (Gotta love those T217s...). You and I chase the same cards all the time. (Although I was not the underbidder on your Howard.)

And Leon, that cabinet is great, for sure!

Cheers,
Steve

This may be my new favorite RPPC. 1915 Tacoma Tigers Joe McGinnity, I've never seen another example of this card...

Default Just added to the Goslin Master Set....

....Just picked up the Worch error "Gaslin"...The grader's specs guys and label writer, instead of putting the correct name and spelling in parentheses up top under the Manufacturer ID, just went by what was on the card sooooooo it's in the registry and VCP and inventories and pop reports and checklists as Leon "Goose" " Gaslin".... I love this hobby....

Hi all! Fairly new to this site and glad to be part of the community. I’ve been working on my Red Sox rookie PC lately and since I can’t seem to ever do anything in moderation, I went a little crazy the last few weeks. With REA ending and some well time eBay bucks bonuses, I’ve been able to cross off a few big ones from my hit list. Thanks for looking!

First, I snagged this one off of COMC. Not a high grade, but a decent pickup for COMC:

This is the first card I’ve ever won on REA. Highest graded and a real stunner:

Was psyched to pick this up since I blew a chance to get a raw one on here. Only one graded higher and I love the look of this version.

Now for the big boy. I’ve never spent this much on a card AND still felt like I got a steal. This card is amazing – scan can’t do it justice. Only 2 PSA 10’s in existence.

Robert--That Mays is a high value card--nice work! You are well on your way to a fine Old Judge collection.

I was stoked to find both of these in a $25 lot.
