Default What is the message limit for pm's?

Hello. I am receiving a message that I am 90% full in my messages. Is there a limit?
Thanks,
RObert

Your inbox and sent folders count towards the total. One thing I do is when it gets near full, I download all the messages to a text file and save it off on my computer so I always have a record of PMs. Once they are downloaded, then you can delete them. You can do that by selecting messages and then on the bottom right select the download;

Default changed to 400

Should now be 400 for all members as of a minute ago but the right is reserved to change it up or down in the future . Hope that helps everyone collectively. If anyone has special needs they can always PM about it.....
It's still good to delete old messages....

The forum is quite a bit more mature than when we first set up the new software for it over 8 years ago. We didn't know what to expect as far as some tolerances were concerned. As time has gone by some things have been tweaked, operationally and when they make sense, hence the 400 Pms limit instead of the 250 Pms limit.

Leon's action merely postponed some decisions and work for me, as I am currently at 249 PMs. But, I'm a great procrastinator, so the new limit really works for me!
