Default SGC holder question

I was going through some of my cards, and dropped an Exhibit card that was in an
SGC holder that popped open.It fell about 3 to 4 feet on a carpeting. This also happened
with a signed index card in a SGC holder about 6 months ago.Is this normal?
I dropped a PSA holder once that chipped, but these just popped open.
Just wondered if this has happened to any one else.

Yeah, they kinda suck luck that. And no, they do not care. It would be nice if a TPG stepped up to challenge PSA but they just don't care.

Their holders are the easiest of the Big 3 to open. Especially now that PSA has gone to a BGS style holder. SCDs are pretty difficult too. Even Beckett has started moving their BCCG cards into BGS/BVG style holders.
