I'm not sure what creeps me out more, the actual item or the accompanying audio.

Post bout the creepiest memorabilia you ever saw here!

if you think that's ghoulish, somebody was on eBay a while back selling a one-inch blood splattered piece of the JFK limousine back seat upholstery cover.

I don't know if I'd call it creepy, but an auction house recently sold the
John Lennon record album Mark Chapman had Lennon autograph before he killed
Lennon. The record had the fingerprints on it and was used as evidence in
the trial.

What I'd call creepy was when Lelands (of course) had a John Wayne Gacy
painting signed by baseball stars plus Richard Nixon. It is assumed the
autographers were unaware of the artist's identity.

As far as eerie goes, the watch Knute Rockne wore when he died in a plane
crash was auctioned by Mastro. The time on the face was stopped at the
moment of impact.

the Rockne watch reminds of when Heritage sold the watch Buddy Holly was wearing in his fatal plane crash and I think it also had stopped at time of impact.

Instead of game-used memorabilia, next they'll probably come out with assassination-used memorabilia cards randomly inserted in packs, like a swatch from John Wilkes Booth's suit worn on the infamous night at Ford's Theatre.

Lelands had pieces of Roberto Clemente's plane, I thought that was both creepy and tacky. I seem to recall they had a KKK outfit as well, although can't be positive. They've had a few items over the years that have sunk considerably below the line of good taste, IMO.

Wasn't someone selling pieces of Thurman Munson's plane not too long ago? All of that wreckage stuff is a little creepy to me if the family is still alive and it's still fresh in the memories of lots of people...I don't think wreckage from the USS Monitor would really bother me that much if it ever went to auction.

Hair really creeps me out though and I can't believe there are people out there that collect it, but hey whatever floats your boat. What I really want to know is how does it get "authenticated"?

Agreed that Leland's has some off-color items, but it was a different auction houe that auctioned the KKK stuff.

More Disgusting than creepy, but about 7 years ago someone was selling on ebay the removed pieces of tissue from a certain pornstars labia reduction surgery. If I recall the auction got a lot of bids, although I can't imagine why anyone in their right mind would bid.
