Default ebay era is grrrrrrrrrreat !

Without ebay, I would not be collecting wonderful vintage cards. They would otherwise be not available where I live, Portland, OR (other than big catalog auctions).

ebay has made these golden oldies available to everyone, dealers and non-dealers alike. And on the sell end, now everyone gets the same opportunity to get the best price, where before, a dealer may offer you only 60% book on a generous day, usually less.

Obviously, ebay has put a dent in the dealers' business. Evolution of our hobby has taken place - for the overall better - imo.

...people complaining about fees, fraud and PayPal, but your sentiment would surely register with most people putting together the more accessible pre-war vintage cards, like my beloved T206s.
