It has taken quite some time to finish. Thanks to the many board members who helped my Dad and me complete this.

Turner,

Congrats. to you and your Dad on completing this back set and finding those tough Hindu and Drum backs!

Must be fun to share this hobby with your Dad.

What was the last one you found?

Besides enjoying those cards, what's next on the agenda?

Rob

Turner- there was a time many years ago when the Hindus were virtually unknown and were by far the rarest T205 back. Today, however, the Drum is considered the rarest.

A job well done!

Thanks for the kind words. This summer at National in Cleveland we will be having the entire set graded by SGC. After that, we will probably have to upgrade a few that will come back authentic.

We are still looking for the elusive Hobby No stats and the Wilhelm "suffered" variation.

The last card that we picked up was the Joshua Devore Hindu from a good friend who we have never met, Shawn Adkins.

Thanks!

Turner,

Congrats...I am still looking for an "affordable" Drum back. I see you have the basic back set but do you have the color and factory variations as well?

Joshua

PS Shawn is a great guy and extremely knowledgeable about t205s.

Turner,
Congrats on your back set. I wonder if Devore is the only subject with two Hindu backs known. What are the odds?

Now I'm impressed with that. Kinda makes me want to do the same thing.

"quite some time" translates to how long??

Thanks for sharing, Frank.

Devore is not the only know T205 hindu with two examples known...I have seen two different Devlins and two different Engles with Hindu backs. The odds are small...in fact, I would venture to guess that there is only two print runs of the Hindu back. I would also say that the Drum back is only a single or double printing as well. I have yet to see a Drum back repeated.

Frank...it can be done. I am missing just a Drum for a master set of backs. Hindus come up about 2-3 times a year. Drums about 1 every 2 years. I put together the basic back set in about two years but I was lucky to find a hindu at a show for cheap.

BTW, Turner...I forgot one more back in the list I sent you...there is a blank back version. I own three different ones. They are truly blank and not skinned. Very tough.

Joshua
