Default A new twist for eBay

I just purchased an item on eBay (not a card) and noticed in my "leave feedback" that things had changed dramatically. Instead of a place to rate the seller with 1-5 stars and leave a feedback sentence, there is now a "rate the seller from 0-10" and some questions to answer (yes or no) with regard to shipping promptness, satisfaction with the items, etc. Has anyone else noticed this? This is a marked change. I haven't sold anything on eBay recently so I don't know if there is an accompanying "rate the buyer."

I just left a feedback for something I bought a couple days ago, and it was the old "five star and sentence thing".

Bob

I have seen the same feedback rating requests that you have described on several occasions. I don't really know when they decide to use it or the old way.

Left feedback this morning...same 5 questions for me. With the amount of items I buy on Ebay, that is enough!

I was under the impression that the more detailed feedback was for sellers that don't have as much selling experience and ebay was trying to "establish" the seller rating for them?

Thoughts?

I've gotten the same feedback screen TBob mentions, albeit rarely. It seems to pop up at random. The last time I left feedback was 2 days ago, and I got the old screeen we're all used to.

It seems that they are beta testing it randomly. If you want to use the old form...hit the back button and then try again, that screen disappears (at least it has for me the 2x I got the new feedback form).

I got that same beta test to rate a seller. The odd thing is, I filled it out, but when I went back in later, they still wanted me to rate the seller, and the old screen popped up. So I ended up filling it out twice.
