After the rehearsal dinner for my youngest daughter's wedding Thursday night, I managed to snag another card for my D311 set. Thanks Dan!
P.S. The wedding was fabulous and perfect
Did put a crimp on my card buying budget the last couple of months though...

Nice try. But seriously, I was the under bidder TWICE for big money on that card.

I guess this flew under the radar but I was fortunate enough to win this T206 Mathewson horizontal multi Piedmont back in the new Coaches T206 Corner auction.

Lovely Day...

Default PLank

I love that it was Lionel's Plank card. I know there was a little story about it, concerning when he acquired it, or how....so there is some history to it which other Planks don't have. Congrats!!

Hate to see Carter's Plank go, but I needed to have enough money for these SUPER RARE signed T206 variations, which I really did pick up at the end of last week.

I think most of us can only dream about the Wagner.. I think a Plank could be in my grasp if I could stop buying HOFs and NY Amer. cards..
Maybe one day!!!!

Default Congrats!

Nelson congrats on the Plank! It is a wonderful card! Are you thinking about adding a Magie error to go along with the Plank someday?

Again Congrats on a great pick up!

All the Best,
Ryan H.

All the Best,

i owned in the past a Magie GAI AUTH, i am not a biggg fan of the Magie card but yes someday i will perhaps buy a magie error.

Now i'll try to have all BASIC t206 card, no error or variation for now. When i will complete my basic set, i will start to afford variation and error. I would like to have a 514 card set with a reprint wagner héhé

after that, i will buy demmit o'hara, Magie ...

thanks you guy for all your comment.

Sorry about the confusion

Should have listed as John Ryn. Dummy was apparently given to him as he was deaf mute.

Got both from Kevin Savage. Just slipped the Moriarty into the binder 2 days ago.

Thanks!! Got to admit, I got a lot of satisfaction out of that one. It was fun to work on. High numbers were tough, without being quite as tricky as '66 or '67 (still working on those!!)
