Default Stall & Dean history

Hey all,

I recently completed my latest American Sporting Goods Manufacturer story on the history of Stall & Dean. It took a few months to compile all the genealogy, catalog, and newspaper archive info to cobble together enough info for this story. I'm not a baseball guy, so if you have a chance, give it a read and let me know if there are any significant events or products in the company's history I may want to add or details than may need to be amended.

A brief warning, as many of you know, Stall & Dean produced a line of gloves that used a racial slur in the early 1900's. Rather than ignore it, I attempted to address its existence in the context of the word's use during the first part of the 20th century.

This is the third history I've completed. The other two are Wright & Ditson and Draper Maynard, which can be found here:

Thanks Guys!

I figure it will take a few years to get all the big hitters done. If anyone is aware of any reference material on A.J. Reach or A.G. Spalding, let me know! Those are mammoth projects and it's always easier to have a place to start from!
