Default Multi Colored Seams Feeney official NL ball

Found this while cleaning out an estate and it went up for auction, any ideas? I know the 5x have the blue and red and are pretty pricey but I have never seen a ball like this it came out of an older collection. My guess is a production sample or prototype but I could be wrong. I would love to hear what you think and what you think the value could be on it.

If I had to guess I'd say it was probably not intentionally made that way and that one spool of the string didn't get dyed correctly or perhaps was made with a dye that has easily faded over the years. Of course I could be 100% incorrect too. Just conjecture on my part.

Can you show a better photo of the Spalding logo and a close-up of the stitches?
