Default Trying to get info about a bat

I recently came into possession of a baseball bat. That, in and of itself, is not necessarily interesting. But I have been trying to get info about this bat and could use all the input (or leads) anyone could provide.

The bat is a "Zimmerman's Professional" bat (though it does NOT say "Montgomery, Alabama" underneath the name of the company. A web search brings up precious little and I don't know who might specialize in old bats (insert jokes here) who could tell me of any potential worth.

I agree with my friend Matt on estimated value. Zimmerman was located in three different locations in Michigan from the late 1880's to the 1920's, Birmingham, Owosso and Tecumseh. Then it was sold to Hillerich & Bradsby Co. Great logos and good looking bats over the years and seldom seen today in good condition. Here is a link to a website that will give you a complete history of the company, http://shiawasseehistory.com/zimmerman.html

Hi there

Cool bat.
I'm curious about the length?
And Matt said it all... I do remember an example selling a few years back at auction in the $400 to $500 range... I think it was Hunts, but depending on the overall condition of yours and with the taped handle... It might be more in the $250 to $300 range in my modest opinion.
