Default The proverbial "found while cleaning out an attic..." fake CJ to boot

Seller wrote:

"Rollie Zeider, Chicago Federals 116 Cracker Jack

I found this card along with a few others while cleaning out an old attic near Chicago. This was the only one in a protective case."

Do people really do that? Just randomly go around the country cleaning out old attics? And somehow the protective case made it more legit. Fake, fake, fake.

One of his closed auctions went something like this:

"I'm sell me grandfather's baseball cards that he gave me some years ago. I'm not an avid card collector. So, I'm putting them up for auction.
Offering them at no reserve and free shipping. I have no idea what they are worth so I will be starting the bid at $20.00
Name of player, team, and manufacture of cards

Some poor buyer spent $107 for some awful, fake cards.
