Default A 33K Ruth/Gehrig possible forgery..haha

I lost 20.00 at Mohegan Sun Casino in CT today, and on the way out, checked out "America's Memories" a store there, that mainly sells autographs. According to them, everything is guaranteed by Forensic examiners, and they only sell stuff from trained document examiners, not self taught. Wt heck?

Anyways, they had everyone from Mussolini, Beatles, Sinatra, Lucy, etc etc. Well, lots of sports, and in their glass case, signed balls. There were TWO Cobbs, one on a strange black laced ball, and a Ruth Gehrig signed on some "offical League". That ball was a cool 32,999 ..haha.

A lot of the stuff looked like it was signed yesterday..haha. Plus, one definitely Bad Maris I saw.

Next time, Im gonna ask them, "who is the document examiners" that guarantee your stuff? haha. So, you overpay, and maybe get forgeries..oh brother....

There are stores like that all over the country--wherever there's money.

They all sell crap.

Hey Scott. Next time your there, take some photos with your phone. That would certainly make for an entertaining thread here on net54.

Best, Jimmy

My phone doesnt take pictures..haha. its a cheapie. But, I will find out who the guarantees are from. The store is nicely layed out, just a ton of definite fakes, and some questionable.

Sitting Bull is there too and Buffalo Bill Cody. doesnt look like one Ive seen w the Roaches tho.
