Default OK. Christmas is roughly a month away.....

What cards are you hoping to receive by Christmas as a nice little addition to your collection. I.e., what are you collecting?

Feeling a bit greedy. This weekend I was able to acquire a very nice 289 card lot of '65 Topps. So, my gift came a little early.

I heard those are quite expensive these days. Might as well go after the real thing

I treat myself on a regular basis. We have a really nice card shop here in the KC area ( The Baseball Card Store ) and I can usually pick up some nice 50's, 60's or very early 70's in great condition. I'm a corners guy, so I look first at corners then centering. The wife travels for work, so my frequency and addiction is completely unawares........

One more Red Cobbie to round it out to 12. The backs are becoming a bit more pricey. but maybe Santa will be kind this year.

Santa is keenly aware of just how naughty I have been this year, so it looks like that well centered 52 Topps Mantle will have to wait another year.

Santa311 on eBay said I needed to join escrow to get Mickey under my tree. Whats the best way to sign up with them and will I be spammed if I fill out thier form? Does escrow have any membership discounts? I got a t-shirt from PSA and a stack of submission papers from SGC, what free offers does escrow have to choose from?

Last I checked, escrow will send you three 1991-92 Upper Deck French hockey commons to be named later.

Robert, you're collecting the '65 Topps set? Those were my first cards as a kid. Good luck.

Sean, it's been an on again, off again relationship. I bought this very nice group of '65s in DC last December. I ended up parting with them for some reason. Anyway, I unexpectedly had a chance to reacquire them this weekend (for much less than I originally paid ) and grabbed them. So, yes, I am back to collecting '65 Topps....also working on a '56 Topps set. Happy collecting!

Maybe not a waterfront property until next year's bonus, so potentially shopping properties on a channel or maybe a property across the street from water with deeded access. Worst case, potentially a property with a water view.

Unless, of course, a nice Green Cobb pops up on ebay and I bid 12x its market value.

got 1 bid in, and it would be a nice present. got a best off in, and it would be a nicer present.
In the end, anything would be nice, even more catalogs or reading material.

Do 1991 French Hockey cards come with gum? Will escrow ship them in a box or padded envelope with cardboards? I would prefer Canadian Hockey cards or something with Lemiex, does their customer service take requests for these concerns? Thank you for your time in response.

I hear Mantle bells jingling already!! Oh boy oh boy!

Every occassion I ask my wife what she wants to spend on me and then I get on Ebay and find a card. This year though I said I want a Playstation 4. However, if I get a card, it will probably be a 1947 Tip Top Break Yankee card.
