After seeing the Northwest traders group posting, it made me post this thread.

I would like to start a Chicagoland area branch of Net54. I posted a thread about this a year ago, but never did much to get it off the ground. With Sportsfest around the corner, I figure this would be a great time to have our first "meeting" so to speak.

If people want to either email me personally, or reply to this thread, I'd love to finally organize a get together.

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Josh

I live in Naperville, and am hoping to attend the show on Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, I am not available on Saturday or Sunday.

I don't have anything really to trade, but I'd be happy to get together with anyone who is going to be at the show.

I'd also be willing to get together at other times, but it's a little tough for me with 3 kids under 4 years old, including a newborn.

Josh--
I'm in suburban Milwaukee--and would be interested in future gatherings.
Weekends are a bit tough, because I do 5 worship services a weekend and often have 1-3 weddings, but would be very interested in being involved.
Back in 1974, when we lived in Central Wisconsin, I hosted George Husby, Jack Urban, Dick Millerd, Ron Greenwood, and we had a great trading/information session. the biggest problem was knowing what to bring for trading purposes. That of course, wasn't limited to vintage stuff (but obviously nothing later that 73).
Mike

I would be interested in meeting as well. I am in Michigan but could justify the trip with shows like the sportsfest.

I'll be moving to central Illinois this summer; I should be there by the first week in July. I've been hoping for some excuses to go up to Chicago.
